  • A new greater tool of the digital imaging processing in medical science. Offering an innovative mobile system that displays the relevant information graphically and in three dimensions for MRI data sets.


    This mobile DIP helps not only in maximizing details of interest towards imaging extraction and analysis but also providing the capable of capturing the raw data for feather study and interpretation remotely.

  • This app use mobile phone network with ECG technology as an approach in collecting and analysing the ECG recording data to help physicians diagnose patients faster and mobilize resources in anticipation of a patient’s arrival, rather than reacting once the patient is already in hospital or clinic.

  • The University of Southern Queensland app is clearly geared for external audiences visiting its campuses. It uses current location to guide the tour and offers details, images, video and Map of each location. Students of the university, are well put together and put a great personal touch on an impersonal touring method.This app also links to Library system for additional study material.

Dr. Adam Lin

I am now working as a research software engineer of medical imaging and medical laboratory systems in University of Queensland, Australia. I am doing integration of the National Imaging Facility (NIF) with the Australian National Data Service to mobile and web services, world co-ordinate based image browsing to human brain. Demonstration can be found in the VM Desktop | VM Phone websites (MRI images). It is a Open Source project that is currently available on GitHub (github.com/NIF-au/TissueStack) and has now had four releases.


Its purpose is to allow researchers to view brain imaging datasets online through an interaction interface on local to the network segment of the Tissue server. This research is headed by Dr. Andrew Janke who is a Neuroinformatics fellow for the National Imaging Facility Queensland (NIF) node. Project is conducting by Adam Lin, Harald Waxenegger and Oliver Nicolini. Embedded version can be found in this LINK.
